Shipping and Returns


At Decibel Made, we approach shipping with the same care and intention as our fabrication process — thoughtful, transparent, and dependable. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how your pieces travel from our studio to your space.

Standard Delivery

We currently ship within the continental United States.

If you’re located outside this region, please contact us directly and we’ll explore the best possible solution.

In-stock items are processed within 5–10 business days. Once shipped, delivery typically arrives within 3–5 business days, depending on your location.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Custom Fabrication — Large & Statement Pieces

For larger designs and furniture-scale works, we offer threshold delivery within the contiguous U.S.

  • Items are delivered just inside your threshold.
  • For multi-unit buildings, delivery is made to the building entrance (not individual doors).
  • Delivery typically occurs 1–3 weeks from shipment.
  • An appointment will be scheduled with a 4-hour delivery window, coordinated by our delivery partner.

Please note:

This service does not include unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging materials.

Deliveries to remote locations or areas without direct highway access may require additional time.

Domestic Shipping Details

Available within the 48 contiguous United States

Orders ship via UPS Ground or trusted freight partners

We do not ship to hotels, P.O. boxes, or APO/FPO/DPO addresses

Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout.

Decibel Made is not responsible for delays or delivery failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.

Freight Forwarders

Customers outside our standard shipping areas may choose to ship to a domestic freight forwarder.

Once your order has been delivered to the freight forwarder, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer.

Order Cancellations

If you need to modify your order, please contact us promptly to avoid unnecessary charges.

Delivery Inspection

We encourage you to carefully inspect all items upon delivery.

If you notice visible damage, please document it on the delivery receipt before signing. Claims cannot be honored without notation at the time of delivery.

If any concerns arise, contact us within three (3) days of receipt and we will work with you toward a thoughtful resolution.

Returns & Exchanges

At Decibel Made, we stand behind the integrity and craftsmanship of every piece we create. Your satisfaction matters deeply to us. If for any reason your selection isn’t right for your space, we’re here to guide you through the return process with clarity and care.

Before initiating a return, please contact our Customer Support team to receive detailed return instructions.

If You’re Not Completely Satisfied

If you wish to return or exchange an item for reasons unrelated to damage, defect, or fulfillment error, we’re happy to assist under the following guidelines:

A 20% restocking fee will apply.

Items must be unused, unassembled, and in original condition, including all original packaging.

Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of delivery.

Unless otherwise instructed, items must be returned via the original shipping method (UPS, FedEx, freight carrier, etc.).

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any associated fees.

We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping service to ensure safe transit.

Refund Details

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.

Please allow up to two weeks from the time we receive your return for processing.

You will be refunded 80% of the purchase price, including applicable tax.

For items that shipped under a free shipping promotion, outbound shipping fees will be deducted from the refund.

If an order is canceled after processing or shipment, round-trip shipping charges apply — even if the original shipment was complimentary.

Incorrect, Defective, or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Visible Damage at Delivery

Inspect all packages before signing.

If visible damage is present, refuse the shipment, ask the driver to note the damage, and contact us right away.

Concealed Damage

If damage is discovered after delivery:

Photograph the item and all packaging materials.

Contact us as soon as possible so we may initiate a claim.
