PORTAL was a collaboration between Decibel and Vizcom for Alcova during Milan Design Week 2025, bringing digital design and physical production together inside the Former SNIA Factory.

The exhibition featured ten original chairs by designers from around the world, developed through a mix of traditional and AI-assisted workflows and produced using large-format robotic 3D printing, recycled and bio-based materials, and live fabrication. PORTAL explored how ideas can move freely between designers, digital tools, and manufacturing—and how that process itself can become part of the experience.
